Meet the Librarian

I am Grace Dent, the kids call me Mrs. Dent, and I am the librarian at Rancho Cordova Elementary. I worked in the library at American River College while I took classes there and volunteered in the library of the Folsom Cordova Community Charter school for 2 years before I had the privilege of becoming the RCE librarian. My youngest son was an RCE Ram from Kindergarten to 5th grade!

I love to read and aim to read over 100 novels every year! My favorite book when I was a kid was "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle and I've read it so many times I've lost count. I also love helping everyone find a book they will enjoy reading! It makes me so happy to see kids reading books that they genuinely love.

Wednesday 8:30-10:30, 12:30-1:10 4th & 5th grade Study Hall, 1:10-2:30

Thursday 8:30-11:45

Friday 9:30-Noon, 12:30-1:10 4th & 5th grade Study Hall, 1:10-2:30
